I don't think I demand any special camera software, because it worked fine previously with Windows 7 and still works fine with Windows XP on my older computer. I think the problem lies in the way Windows x installed the Photo Gallery when I upgraded from Windows vii to Windows 10.. To test this theory I did the following .
Removed the SD card from camera and installed it directly in the computer.
Under File Explorer, This PC, I found and opened the contents of the SD Menu.
I clicked and dragged the pictures to my desk-bound summit.
I opened my old ACDSee Program, and dragged the pictures into information technology.
And then when I opened Windows 10 Photo Gallery, the new pictures displayed in the correct sequence.
This is a bit cumbersome , simply it works, but hopefully someone in the Community tin can assist me correct the problem with the way Photo Gallery was prepare, and then I don't have to utilize ACDSee as the centre human being for importing pictures from my Fuji Fine Pix Camera. As I said before, pictures from my other camera and cell phone can exist imported straight into Photo Gallery.

Hello Factor. I also own a Fuji FinePix Camera (Xs-1) and I could not Transfer my Pictures directly connecting my Camera through the USB port with the USB cable to W10 equally I apply to exercise with Windows 8.ane. Well Fujifilm only Released a New Firmare for my Photographic camera (Version 1:02) that corrects this problem with Windows 10. I recommend you go to the Support page on the Fujifilm spider web site, look uo for the Model of your Camera and Download the Latest Firmware for yor Camera. Whish y'all luck.... Aaron...

No, I read this article previously. The problem I think is that since I upgraded to Windows 10, I no longer encounter whatever dialog box when I import pictures. When I turn on the photographic camera, the screen immediately goes to the Photo Gallery Screen, which shows my device just says there is aught new to import.

Hello Aaron. Thanks for the heads upwardly. I looked at the Fuji site for my camera, an F70EXR, and there were no Firmware upgrades listed for Windows ten. I think the latest Windows version listed was Windows eight, just I wrote to them and asked. I will let you know what they say.

Howdy Aron. I got a email response from Kelly at the Imaging Support Team-- Fuji pic, today that stated that all Fuji Cameras manufactured prior to 2010 won't be uniform with Windows x, and suggested I invest in a card reader.
However on the Fuji Canada site, they show a few software/firmware updates available for the F70EXR, the camera I have. One of these is updates is called FinePix Viewer Vers. v.5 for Windows 7 and older. My photographic camera had no trouble downloading pictures when I had Windows 7, merely that may be because at that time my device detector displayed an auto-play dialog box where I would click import. Now with Windows 10, there is no Dialog box only Photograph Gallery which opens automatically when I plug in the camera. Perhaps the Firmware update I mentioned would exist able to restore the Dialog box , even though it is only updated to Windows 7.
Another pick from another correspondence I received from Fuji earlier is to run the Microsoft Auto-Play Repair Wizard utility which would bank check and repair the auto-play settings. Only I am not sure if information technology would piece of work with Windows ten.
Peradventure someone from Microsoft, maybe Sangeeta or Harshvardham, or Pawan, who replied to my initial enquiry could suggest on weather updating the photographic camera's firmware to windows 7, or running the Microsoft Wizard utility could solve this problem.

Hello Harshavardhan... Sorry but my earlier answer was inserted afterwards Aron's comment not yours--my error. The Microsoft commodity refers to an auto-play dialog box, but since I upgraded to Windows 10, I no longer run into this box. Now every bit soon as I plug in the camera, the Photo Gallery screen opens on my monitor, and tries to import without whatsoever direction from me. When I contacted Fuji , 1 of their back up staff recommended running the Microsoft Auto-Play Repair Wizard. Would this utility exist able to restore the Dialog box and could this solve my problem?

There is nothing incorrect with autoplay as Photograph Gallery is opening when you attach the camera. Fuji has informed you that your camera is not compatible with Windows x, and at that place is no one at Microsoft who knows more than about Fuji cameras than Fuji. I wouldn't mess with the firmware, as it'due south not likely to help and could make things worse. The advice regarding using a card reader is your best bet.

How-do-you-do Pawan, further to my reply on Nov 7, I have heard back from Fuji Camera, confirming that they accept no updated software for any photographic camera manufactured prior to 2010, to get in uniform with Windows 10. And so if the photographic camera manufacturer does not take such software, is there a generic brand of such software available? My photographic camera a Fuji FinePix F70EXR is probably 20 years one-time , but still works well. I have newer cameras and a cell phone that also takes pictures, just I even so like to use the Fuji. One of the Fuji Support Techs recommended running the Microsoft AutoPlay Repair Sorcerer . Since I upgraded to Windows x, I have lost the Car-Play Dialog box which I think is now replaced by Photograph Gallery, merely would running the Repair Wizard restore the dialog box and could that jeopardize the Photo Gallery Application?
I mentioned this elsewhere, and possibly yous didn't see information technology, but since the initial posting on Nov half-dozen, I have plant out that by removing the camera's memory (SD) Menu , and inserting it directly in my calculator, I can run into and open the photos. I tin as well drag them to my desktop or into a program called ACDSee. (I CAN"T DRAG THEM Straight INTO PHOTO GALLERY). But one time they are in ACDSee, they automatically also appear in Photo Gallery. The photos themselves are all JPEG, just somehow Windows 10 Photo Gallery doesn't recognize them, until they have been accepted into ACDSee. If we could effigy out why, this would likely solve my trouble. Perhaps restoring the Automobile-Play Dialog Box would let me select ACDC as my main photo program, just would Windows x allow this?
